Robyn is a dedicated criminal defence lawyer with a passion for advocacy and access to justice. Born and raised in Vancouver, she earned her degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University before completing her J.D. at Thompson Rivers University in 2021. During law school, she was actively involved in her legal community—founding the TRU Criminal Law Club, working with the TRU Community Legal Clinic, and co-organizing virtual networking events for students interested in criminal defence.
Robyn also worked as a research assistant to Dr. Robert Diab, co-authoring publications in The Advocate, Criminal Law Quarterly, UBC Law Review, and The Last Frontier: Digital Privacy and the Charter. She received the Advocate Legal Writing Prize and the BC Prosecution Service Bursary in recognition of her academic excellence and contributions to legal scholarship.
She completed her articles with Brian Coleman, K.C., Glen Orris, K.C., Mark Swartz, and Chantal Paquette in downtown Vancouver. Robyn brings a thoughtful, client-centred approach to her work, with a strong commitment to fairness, integrity, and the craft of criminal defence.
