Sr. Paralegal & Research Assistant
Olga Schwartzkof
Sr. Paralegal & Research Assistant
Olga has been the heart of Orris Law for over 35 years. As senior paralegal and research assistant to Glen Orris, K.C., she brings unmatched experience—particularly in forensic science—and plays a vital role in supporting both clients and counsel through every stage of the legal process. She is also responsible for screening all articling applications and continues to mentor generations of articling students with patience, wisdom, and care.
She is, in every way, the soul of our firm. Her relationships span decades—clients, lawyers, and former students still reach out years later to share updates, ask questions, or simply say hello. Olga checks in, remembers birthdays, offers guidance, and brings genuine care to everyone she meets.
Outside of the firm, Olga has served on the board of the Rivershed Society of B.C. and contributed to public consultation efforts on issues such as water quality, fisheries, and national pollution policy. She holds a BSc. in Agriculture from UBC and has pursued unclassified studies in ecology, forestry, and psychology. A lifelong learner and passionate advocate, Olga continues to inspire everyone who has the privilege of working with her.
Always ready with a story and a smile, Olga may be small in stature—but her heart, compassion, and presence loom large in the lives of those around her.
