With over five decades of experience in criminal law, Glen Orris, K.C. is one of British Columbia’s most respected defence lawyers. He has represented clients in some of Canada’s most high-profile and complex cases, and has appeared at every level of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Glen earned his law degree from the University of Manitoba and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1973. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the legal profession, he was appointed King’s Counsel in 1988.
A long-standing leader in the legal community, Glen is a past President of the Vancouver Bar Association, a former executive member of the Canadian Bar Association, and a dedicated legal educator. He has taught advocacy for the Continuing Legal Education Society and served as a discussion leader for the Inns of Court Project, a mentorship program founded by a former Chief Justice of British Columbia.
