Robyn Young
Lawyer
Robyn is a recent graduate of Thompson Rivers University’s ("TRU") Faculty of Law. In law school, she participated in the TRU Community Legal Clinic and founded the TRU Criminal Law Club in her first year. She worked as a research assistant for Dr. Robert Diab and has co-authored upcoming publications in the Advocate; the Criminal Law Quarterly; The Last Frontier: Digital Privacy and the Charter; and in the UBC Law Review. In her final year of law school, she partnered with the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society and the Indigenous Law Students Society to organize virtual networking events for students interested in criminal law during the pandemic.
She was the recipient of the Advocate Legal Writing Prize, and the BC Prosecution Service Bursary.
